Iran (IMNA) - Speaking in Tehran on Monday, he emphasized the significance of the massive turnout during the February 22nd celebrations, which commemorated the 45th anniversary of Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution.
"The enemy's software threats have been ineffective against this country and this nation," Ayatollah Khamenei stated, referring to the overwhelming participation in the marches and festivities that marked this pivotal historical event. He explained that "software threats" involve manipulating public opinion, fostering division, and instilling doubt about the fundamental principles of the Islamic Revolution.
Despite these tactics, Ayatollah Khamenei expressed confidence that such efforts have not succeeded in shaking the determination of the Iranian people or deterring the youth from their commitment to progress. He noted, "By God's grace, they have not succeeded until today."
Highlighting the extraordinary nature of this year's commemorative events, he remarked, "Where else in the world does such a thing exist? After forty-some years since the victory of the Revolution, on its anniversary, the entire nation honors the day with such a massive turnout, despite all existing problems."
