Iranians Celebrate Revolution Anniversary, President Pezeshkian Vows to Thwart Enemy Plots

Millions of Iranians participated in the annual 22 Bahman rallies across Tehran and in over 1,400 cities on Monday, commemorating the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

Iran (IMNA) - The marches began Monday morning, with citizens celebrating the revolution's victory.

During a speech at Tehran’s Azadi Square, President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that the Iranian people ousted tyranny 46 years ago and that unity is the key to the nation's success. He stated that Iranians, through their strength and unity, successfully removed foreign influence from the country.

President Pezeshkian addressed the enemies' attempts to sow division and discord, assuring that their plans would fail due to the wisdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the presence of the people. He affirmed that Iran, under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, would resist all enemy conspiracies, which would ultimately be unsuccessful.

Pezeshkian refuted accusations of terrorism against Iran, stating that Iran is a victim of terrorism, while accusing the U.S. and Israel of being the real source of insecurity in the region.

President Pezeshkian dismissed claims by U.S. President Donald Trump of seeking talks with Iran, citing Washington’s efforts to undermine the country. He questioned the logic behind the U.S.'s simultaneous pressure tactics and criticized the U.S.'s support for Israel, which he accused of bombing innocent people.

Pezeshkian stressed the importance of national unity, stating that Iran’s strength lies in its solidarity. He promised to combat injustice, poverty, and economic hardship under the guidance of the country’s Leader.
