Iranian Army Integrates 1,000 Strategic Drones into Combat Operations

On Monday morning, the Iranian Army officially integrated 1,000 strategic drones into its combat organization, following an order from Army Chief Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi.

Iran (IMNA) - The event took place in the presence of Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh and was executed simultaneously across various locations in the country.

These unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are equipped with advanced features, including a range exceeding 2,000 kilometers and high destructive capabilities, designed for special missions. Their integration aims to enhance reconnaissance and border monitoring while significantly boosting the army's combat power against distant targets.

The drones were developed collaboratively by the Iranian Army, the Ministry of Defense, and knowledge-based companies within UAV manufacturing facilities. This addition is part of Iran's broader strategy to bolster its military capabilities in response to regional threats and to ensure national security.
