A leader of the Fatah Alliance in Iraq has disclosed the motivations behind Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani's imminent visit to Tehran.

Iran (IMNA) -The official emphasized that the strategies employed by the United States and the Zionist regime, supported by Western nations, extend beyond Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria, threatening the entire region.

The visit, scheduled for Wednesday, January 8, 2025, is intended to assess political and security conditions as part of efforts to confront these divisive plans. The Fatah leader noted that Iraq has emerged as a pivotal nation with significant influence on the security and political landscapes of its neighboring countries.

During his trip, Al Sudani is expected to engage in discussions with Iranian officials regarding various bilateral issues and regional developments, including the situation in Syria and strategies for enhancing cooperation amidst shifting dynamics in the Middle East.
