Iran (IMNA) - Initially, the agency reported that up to nine people had died; however, a regional disaster relief headquarters later confirmed that the death toll has risen to as many as 32, with at least 38 others injured. The earthquake struck Dingri county near the Nepalese border at a depth of 10 kilometers at 9:05 AM local time (11:05 AM AEST) on Tuesday, as stated by the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
A magnitude-6.8 earthquake has resulted in fatalities and structural damage in China's Tibet region, particularly affecting three townships: Changsuo, Quluo, and Cuoguo in Dingri county, as reported by the Tibet Autonomous Region earthquake bureau, according to Xinhua news agency.
