Iran (IMNA) -The conversation focused on the current status of collaboration within the framework of the Safeguards agreements.
Araghchi criticized certain members of the IAEA’s Board of Governors for their "unconstructive measures," which he claimed hindered progress during Grossi’s planned visit to Tehran in November. He emphasized that despite these challenges, Iran remains committed to constructive cooperation with the United Nations nuclear watchdog. “The Islamic Republic is still prepared to continue constructive cooperation with the IAEA within the defined technical framework,” he stated.
Grossi, for his part, reiterated the agency's commitment to serious engagement with Iran. He highlighted that he would continue consultations with other parties to foster a conducive atmosphere for resolving existing issues.
