Iran and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Bilateral Relations

In a recent meeting, the Iranian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Waleed Bin Abdulkarim al-Khereiji, the kingdom’s deputy foreign minister, engaged in discussions aimed at expanding bilateral relations.

Iran (IMNA) - The two diplomats reviewed the current state of relations between Tehran and Riyadh, exploring avenues for cooperation across various fields and addressing mutual interests.

This meeting follows a visit by Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht Ravanchi to Saudi Arabia, where he also met with Al-Khereiji. During his late November visit, Ravanchi emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two nations in political, security, economic, commercial, and consular matters. He highlighted the historical and cultural ties that underpin their relationship, advocating for a principle of good neighborliness to guide future interactions.
