Iran, Russia, and Turkey Condemn Israeli Actions in Joint Statement

In a joint statement released during the 16th round of the Astana Talks on Syria Peace on Tuesday, Iran, Russia, and Turkey condemned the actions of the Zionist regime against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, as well as its military aggression towards Lebanon and Syria.

Iran (IMNA) _ The statement characterized these actions as violations of international law and referred to the situation in Gaza as genocide.

The three nations called for an immediate ceasefire and denounced all military attacks by the occupying regime in Syria, emphasizing that such actions contravene international legal standards. They warned that the escalating violence in West Asia could adversely affect the situation in Syria.

Additionally, Iran, Russia, and Turkey urged United Nations structures to take action to assist Lebanese refugees who have fled to Syria due to the ongoing conflict. They highlighted the necessity of continuing efforts to normalize relations between Ankara and Damascus.

The joint statement concluded with a commitment to enhance efforts for sustainable normalization in the de-escalation zone of Idlib and its surroundings, focusing on improving humanitarian conditions.
