Iran Emerges as a Leader in Nuclear Technology, AEOI Chief Claims

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Mohammad Eslami, announced that Iran has made significant strides in its peaceful nuclear energy program, establishing itself as one of the leading countries in nuclear technology despite facing U.S. sanctions and challenges from Western nations.

Iran (IMNA) - Speaking at a meeting with students and professors at Shiraz University, Eslami emphasized the nation's achievements over recent years.

As one of the first signatories to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), Iran has maintained close cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Eslami highlighted the unveiling of a light water training reactor simulator in Shiraz, noting that this simulator enhances research capabilities and improves human resource training, thereby increasing students' skills through practical engagement.

Eslami's remarks underscore Iran's commitment to advancing its nuclear program, which he believes is crucial for national development and deterrence against potential aggressors.
