Iran (IMNA) - Araghchi's comments came during discussions with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, where both leaders expressed their shared concerns regarding the threats posed by Israel's military actions, particularly in Gaza and Lebanon.
Araghchi emphasized the necessity for urgent international intervention to halt the killing of innocents and to address what he termed as genocide perpetrated by Israel. He stated that Iran and Turkey, as influential neighbors, must coordinate their efforts to effectively respond to these challenges. "The coordination between key regional countries, particularly Iran and Turkey, is essential for making decisions and taking urgent actions to stop the war machine of the Israeli regime," he asserted.
President Erdoğan echoed Araghchi's sentiments, highlighting the importance of close cooperation between their nations to prevent further atrocities. He reaffirmed Turkey's commitment to deepening bilateral relations across various sectors, especially in economic cooperation. Erdoğan also voiced support for removing barriers that hinder the expansion of ties between Iran and Turkey.
Both leaders are committed to addressing the escalating conflict and maintaining dialogue aimed at fostering stability in the region.
