Leader Honors Martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar, Vows Continued Resistance

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, issued a poignant message on Saturday morning following the martyrdom of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

Iran (IMNA) - In his address to the Muslim nations and the youth of the region, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei emphasized that Sinwar has joined his martyred companions, recognizing him as a significant figure in the Resistance.

Ayatollah Khamenei praised Sinwar's unwavering determination to confront what he termed the "cruel enemy," asserting that he deserved martyrdom for his efforts against the usurping Israeli regime. He acknowledged the pain of Sinwar's loss for the Resistance Front but reassured that the movement would persist, stating, "The Resistance did not stop after the martyrdom of its leaders, and it will not stop, God willing." He firmly declared, "Hamas is alive and will remain alive."

Additionally, the leader extended his condolences to the Resistance forces, Sinwar's family, and supporters of the Resistance Front. This follows Hamas's confirmation of Sinwar's martyrdom due to an Israeli attack in Rafah city, Gaza, on Friday. Before his leadership role in Hamas, Sinwar had served as the group's leader in Gaza for seven years and spent 22 years in an Israeli prison before being released in a 2011 prisoner swap.
