Israeli Military Claims Hamas Leader Yahya Sinwar martyred in Gaza

The Israeli military announced that it has martyred Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in the southern Gaza Strip on Wednesday. The army is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Sinwar's reported death.

Iran (IMNA) - On Thursday, it was reported that an Israeli airstrike resulted in the deaths of at least 19 Palestinians, including children, at a UNRWA school sheltering displaced individuals in Jabalia, northern Gaza. However, Hamas has denied that any of its members were present at the school.

The Israeli military stated that a DNA test is being conducted to confirm Sinwar's identity. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant indicated that investigations are ongoing.

Additionally, the Israeli regime reported that three Hamas members were killed in a gunfight in Rafah, with one of those identified as Sinwar. A statement from the Israeli foreign ministry later confirmed Sinwar's death.

The situation remains tense as the Israeli military continues its operations in Gaza amidst ongoing conflict and humanitarian concerns.
