Iran Promises New Defense Technology Amid Escalating Tensions with Israel

Iranian officials have announced that a new type of defense technology will be unveiled in the event of a future attack on Israel.

Iran (IMNA) - Deputy Parliament Speaker Ali Nikzad stated that if Israel takes action against Iran, a new Iranian defense weapon will definitely be revealed.

Nikzad reminded that during Operation True Promise II, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) unveiled a new missile type not previously used in earlier operations against Israel. On October 1, Iran launched a retaliatory attack on occupied Palestine using a barrage of homegrown missiles, with the IRGC claiming that 90% of them hit their intended targets.

The operation was a direct response to the Israeli assassinations of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC commander Abbas Nilforooshan. Iranian Defense Minister stated that the target of the retaliatory attack included an intelligence headquarters and three military bases belonging to the Tel Aviv regime. He emphasized that Operation True Promise II achieved over 90% success and was fully compliant with international law, asserting that no civilian sites were targeted.

Iranian officials have issued strong warnings to Israel regarding potential responses to Iran's operations, indicating that further strikes would target critical infrastructure in occupied Palestine.

The recent missile assault was characterized as part of Iran's legitimate self-defense rights under international law. The IRGC stated that its actions were a necessary response to escalating crimes backed by the United States against the people of Lebanon and Gaza.

As tensions continue to rise, Iranian leaders have reiterated their commitment to defending national security and warned that any further aggression from Israel would be met with significant retaliation.
