Iran Warns Israel of Strong Response to Any New Aggression Amid Regional Tensions

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a stern warning to Israel, stating that Iran will respond decisively to any new acts of aggression by the Zionist regime.

In a recent telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Araghchi emphasized that while Iran does not seek to escalate tensions in the region, it is prepared to take strong and proportional action against any provocations from Israel.

During their discussion, the two diplomats exchanged views on bilateral relations and the ongoing regional situation. They underscored the necessity of enhancing diplomatic efforts to halt Israeli incursions into Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, and to facilitate humanitarian aid for refugees affected by the conflict.

Araghchi highlighted his recent visit to Beirut, describing the current state of the Resistance in Lebanon as "favorable" and asserting that its forces are fully prepared to confront potential ground attacks from Israel. He reiterated Iran's stance of not wanting to escalate conflict but affirmed that the nation would respond firmly to any new provocations from Israel.

In response, Abdelatty expressed Egypt's deep concern regarding the escalating tensions in the region, warning that such conflicts could have severe implications for both regional and international peace. He stressed the importance of de-escalation efforts.

Both foreign ministers agreed to continue their consultations regarding regional developments, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to address the ongoing crisis.
