Iran Stands Firm with Lebanon Following Israeli Airstrikes

In response to the recent deadly airstrikes by Israel on the suburbs of Beirut, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared that the Islamic Republic will continue to support Lebanon and the Axis of Resistance.

Iran (IMNA) - He condemned the attacks on the Dahieh area, labeling them as "clear and unconcealable war crimes" that expose the state terrorism inherent in Israel's actions.

Pezeshkian emphasized that the ongoing crimes against the people of Palestine and Lebanon reflect a desperate international community unable to curb state terrorism. He urged countries worldwide, particularly Islamic nations, to firmly denounce these acts. In a show of solidarity, he expressed condolences to the families of those killed and injured in the strikes.

The Iranian government has committed to pursuing accountability for these latest actions by Israel, reaffirming its support for Lebanon and its allies within the Axis of Resistance. Initial reports indicate that Friday's airstrikes resulted in at least two fatalities and 76 injuries in Beirut's Dahieh area.
