Iran Condemns US Aid to Israel as Support for War Crimes

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kan’ani, criticized the recent US aid package to Israel, stating that these funds serve as "rewards of an employer to murderers."

Iran (IMNA) - His remarks come in response to the announcement of an $8.7 billion military aid package from the United States to the Israeli regime, aimed at maintaining its military superiority in the region.

Kan’ani expressed his disdain on his X account, highlighting that it is shameful for the US to consider the deaths of approximately 42,000 people in Palestine over the past 11 months and more than 1,500 in Lebanon within just four days as acts of self-defense. He asserted that there is no doubt the US is a primary partner in the war crimes committed by the Israeli regime against Palestinians and the ongoing atrocities against the Lebanese nation.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman emphasized that the "ridiculous and groundless" narratives from the US would not deter Iran from pursuing justice against those responsible for crimes against its people. He insisted that perpetrators cannot escape punishment regardless of any statute of limitations.

These comments follow US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's earlier statement affirming Washington's unwavering commitment to assist Israel in its defense efforts. The ongoing conflict has intensified scrutiny of US military support for Israel amid widespread allegations of human rights violations against Palestinian civilians.
