Iran (IMNA) - The event is being held at the Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini (RA) in southern Tehran, attended by high-ranking state and military officials, including Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. The parade is also taking place simultaneously in other provinces throughout the country.
Among the highlights of the ceremony was the unveiling of the Fattah hypersonic missile, marking Iran's status as one of only four countries possessing this technology. Additionally, the Jahad ballistic missile and the Shahed 136B drone were showcased during the military display.
In his opening remarks, President Pezeshkian asserted that no enemy dares to invade Iran's territory, emphasizing that Iran's strength and deterrence prevent any aggression against its soil. He declared, "Today, we strongly announce to the world that in addition to defending our country, with unity and cohesion among Islamic countries, we can maintain our region's peace and security."
Pezeshkian further stated that through unity, they could counter the actions of Israel, which he described as a "usurper" lacking mercy for civilians. The parade featured displays from both the Army Air Force and the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), highlighting Iran's military capabilities and advancements in defense technology.
