IRGC Aerospace Force Employs Advanced Vahab Engine in Satellite Carriers, Launches Five Satellites

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) AerospSPACEace Force has equipped its satellite carriers with an advanced homegrown spherical rotary engine called Vahab.

Iran (IMNA) - The Qassed and Qaem satellite carriers, developed by the IRGC Aerospace Force, have successfully launched five satellites into orbits at various altitudes over the past four years.

Vahab, a spherical rotary engine running on solid fuel, is installed in the third stage of the launch vehicles. It is equipped with small and accurate propulsive components that allow for the precise adjustment of satellite injection into space orbits.

The IRGC's satellite carriers furnished with the Vahab engine have sent the Noor-I, Noor-II, Noor-III, Sorayya, and Chamran-1 satellites into orbits ranging from 430 km to 750 km above the Earth's surface so far.

In the early hours of Saturday, Iran successfully launched the Chamran-1 research satellite aboard the Qaem-100 satellite carrier, which is manufactured by the IRGC Aerospace Force[3][4]
