Iranian Para-Athletes Achieve Record Medal Haul at Paris 2024 Paralympics

Iranian para-athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, securing a record-breaking medal tally of 26 medals.

Iran (IMNA) - The Iranian team finished 14th in the overall medal table, their highest ranking since their debut at the Paralympic Games.

The Iranian contingent brought home 8 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals, surpassing their previous best record of 24 medals set at the London 2012 Paralympics. This achievement comes on the heels of Iran's success at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where they finished 21st with a total of 12 medals.
