Iranian Navy to Announce New Achievement in Major Mission

According to Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, the force is set to unveil a significant accomplishment as part of a major mission in international waters.

Iran (IMNA) - Irani informed reporters on Friday, as reported by PressTV, that the Navy's decision-making process for the mission is nearing completion. He teased that another achievement by the force will be revealed soon.

In response to Western efforts to paint the Indian Ocean as unsafe due to Yemen’s anti-Israel operations, Irani highlighted the increased presence of Iranian naval forces in the area.

"While the enemy attempts to depict the northern part of the Indian Ocean, including the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, as unsafe, our naval fleets are ensuring security in this maritime region with enhanced strength," Irani stated.

He reassured that all ships, except for those linked to Israel, are navigating the Indian Ocean safely. Irani emphasized the Iranian nation's unwavering power in safeguarding the ocean's shipping routes.

The remarks come in the context of Yemeni forces conducting numerous operations in solidarity with Palestinians amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza. The conflict has resulted in the deaths of over 40,000 Palestinians, primarily women and children, with tens of thousands more injured or missing.
