Iran's Response to Israel's Assassination of Hamas Chief Will be 'Precise, Calculated,' Foreign Minister Warns

Iran's Foreign Minister has vowed that the Islamic Republic's response to Israel's assassination of Hamas Political Chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran will be "precise, calculated, and managed," taking into account all necessary dimensions.

Iran (IMNA) - In a statement, the Foreign Minister emphasized that the action of the Israeli regime in violating Iran's security and sovereignty will not go unanswered. He emphasized that the response will be taken at the right time and in the right way, with no doubt about the issue.

The assassination of Haniyeh and one of his bodyguards on July 31 was attributed to the Israeli regime by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which stated that the act was "designed and implemented by the Zionist regime and supported by the criminal government of America."

High-ranking Iranian officials have reacted to the Israeli act of terror, with Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei stating that the assassination of Haniyeh has prepared the ground for harsh punishment for itself.
