Iranian President Calls for Muslim Unity Against Israel, Citing Regional Instability

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian urged Muslim nations to unite against the perceived crimes of the Israeli regime in the region, calling for enhanced unity among Muslims. The Iranian leader made the remarks during a Saturday morning address to the cabinet at the mausoleum of the late Imam Khomeini.

Iran (IMNA) - Pezeshkian emphasized that if all Muslims were united, they would not have been able to commit such crimes, according to reports. The Iranian president also referenced the approach of the late Imam Khomeini, who supported the downtrodden and united the Islamic community.

Furthermore, Pezeshkian highlighted the importance of preserving national unity, citing Iran's successful resistance against foreign invasion during the Imposed War era. The president stressed that if Muslims continue to stand together with strength and determination, they can overcome their challenges and achieve regional stability.

Pezeshkian's call for unity comes amid heightened tensions between Iran and Israel, which have been at odds over issues such as nuclear development and territorial disputes.
