Iran, Qatar Unite in Effort to Promote Regional Security and Peace

In a late-night phone conversation, Iran's Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani and his Qatari counterpart Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani discussed the urgent need to reduce tensions and restore peace to the region.

Iran (IMNA) - The diplomatic call came on Friday night, as the two countries emphasized the importance of joint mediation efforts to end the conflict in Gaza.

According to a statement from Qatar's foreign ministry, the two parties also addressed recent developments in the region, including the situation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories. The conversation highlighted the shared commitment to supporting regional and international efforts aimed at achieving security and stability at both local and global levels.

The Qatari side reaffirmed Doha's dedication to supporting all initiatives aimed at promoting regional security and stability, as well as its commitment to international cooperation in achieving these goals.
