Iran, Belarus air forces explore cooperation in military fields

The Commander of the Iranian Army's Air Force, Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi, held talks with the Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense of Belarus, Major General Andrey Lukyanovich, in Tehran today.

Iran (IMNA) - The two military leaders discussed the potential for cooperation between their respective air forces, citing commonalities between Iran and Belarus. They emphasized the importance of defense and military relations, and expressed interest in sharing expertise and resources in the development of military equipment.

Brigadier General Vahedi criticized the United States and Israel for their alleged warmongering policies, stating that these actions have led to calamities and disasters in the region. He also highlighted the importance of self-reliance and independence for countries, citing Imam Khomeini's views on the US as a "main cause of corruption" and "Great Satan".

The Iranian commander expressed his belief that the Israeli regime is nearing its end, citing historical examples of oppressive regimes being toppled. He also emphasized the need for Iran to prepare its military capabilities to defend its territorial integrity.

In a statement, Major General Lukyanovich emphasized Belarus's commitment to developing relations with Iran's Air Force, particularly in the fields of defense and military cooperation.

During his visit, General Lukyanovich toured Shahid Sattari University of Aeronautical Engineering and Shahid Lashgari Air Force's Military Academy.
