Kanaani's statement comes as the Israeli regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7 in response to a surprise attack by Palestinian Resistance movements. The latest incident involves the assassination of Hamas top leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on Wednesday, allegedly while he was attending a ceremony for the newly elected President Masoud Pezeshkian.
The Iranian government has vowed to retaliate against the assassination.
