Iran (IMNA) -Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei made the statement during a meeting with members of the Tehran Martyrs Congress on Thursday.
In his remarks, the supreme leader touched on the issue of resistance during the Iran-Iraq War, which was imposed on Iran. He also praised the pro-Palestine protests by students in the United States, describing them as "a unique phenomenon in contemporary history."
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei noted that the growing support for Palestine among American academics has reached a point where the US government is violating its own claims about human rights and police brutality, with students being beaten and detained as a result.
