Gaza Death Toll Surpasses 37,000 as Israel's Siege Continues

The Gaza Strip has witnessed a devastating escalation in violence, with the death toll from Israel's strikes reaching over 37,340, according to Gaza's health ministry.

Iran (IMNA) - The ministry reported that 37,347 people have been killed, including 10 in the past 24 hours alone. Additionally, 73 civilians were wounded in the past day, bringing the total number of wounded to 85,372.

The conflict began on October 7 when Israel launched a brutal war on Gaza in response to an unprecedented operation by Hamas against the occupying entity. The operation was a retaliatory measure against Israel's intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

Israel has maintained a complete siege on the densely populated territory, cutting off essential supplies such as fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there. The ongoing blockade has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, further complicating the already dire situation.
