Iran Slams International Community's Inaction as Israel Continues Gaza Bombardment, Palestinians Resist

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kan'ani has strongly condemned the international community's silence and inaction in the face of Israel's brutal attacks on the Gaza Strip. In a post on X social media platform, Kan'ani emphasized that Palestinians' resistance will ultimately bring the occupying Israeli regime to its knees.

TEHRAN, IRAN - The Iranian official lamented that 55% of Gaza's buildings have been destroyed or damaged due to the international community's inaction, while the Israeli regime's attacks have brought only destruction, massacre, drought, and starvation. Kan'ani vowed that the Palestinian people, despite their sufferings, will ultimately defeat the Israeli regime and bring shame to those who remain silent in the face of its crimes.

The statement comes as Israeli attacks on central Gaza have claimed the lives of at least 66 Palestinians in the last 24 hours, with dozens more injured, mostly children and women. Medical sources in Deir el-Balah reported that morgues are overflowing and struggling to cope with the surge of casualties.

Since October 7, Israel has waged a genocidal war on Gaza, killing at least 36,550 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring over 82,959 others. The Tel Aviv regime has imposed a "complete siege" on the territory, cutting off essential services such as fuel, electricity, food, and water to over two million Palestinians living there.

The United Nations has urged an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian aid to Gaza, but so far, international organizations have failed to take concrete action to end the violence.
