Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Munir Akram highlighted Raeisi's contributions to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's mission, particularly in advocating for Palestinian rights.
The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) representative from Uganda emphasized the instrumental role played by Raeisi and Amir-Abdollahian in strengthening cooperation among member countries. Iran’s Ambassador to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, expressed gratitude for the outpouring of sympathy and described President Raeisi as a dedicated leader committed to fostering good neighborliness and dialogue.
Iravani also praised Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian for his diplomatic contributions to regional and international cooperation. He emphasized that the legacies of both leaders will inspire continued efforts towards peace, security, justice, and multilateralism. The tragic loss of President Raeisi and Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian has deeply impacted the international community, highlighting their enduring commitment to global peace and cooperation.
