All Passengers Aboard President Raeisi's Helicopter martyred in Crash

In a tragic turn of events, it has been confirmed that all passengers aboard the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian were martyred when the aircraft crashed in a dense forest area in East Azarbaijan province on Sunday.

Iran (IMNA) - The victims include President Raeisi, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, East Azerbaijan Province Governor Malek Rahmati, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem (the representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to East Azarbaijan province), and several other individuals.

After hours of search operations, Head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) Pirhossein Kolivand announced that the location of the crashed helicopter had been spotted, with no signs of surviving passengers. Red Crescent search and rescue teams, equipped with advanced and specialized gear, have reached the crash site despite difficult weather conditions.

The helicopter went down in a remote area between the cities of Varzaqan and Jolfa, where President Raeisi and his delegation were returning from a ceremony to inaugurate a dam on the Aras River with Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev.

The tragic incident has sent shockwaves through Iran and the international community, as the country mourns the loss of its top leaders and officials. Investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the crash.
