Iran (IMNA) - Zakharova highlighted the intensified Ukrainian attacks on Russian cities, particularly noting the escalation following Kiev's setbacks in the Kharkov Region. She pointed to the involvement of American and British influencers within the Zelensky regime, accusing them of orchestrating the aggressive assaults by providing advanced weaponry, including long-range missiles, and endorsing their use against Russia.
Emphasizing Russia's stance, Zakharova reiterated a clear message to Western capitals, including Washington, London, and Brussels, as well as Kiev, cautioning them against the dangerous game they are playing. She underscored that Russia will not tolerate any infringements on its territory without a response.
Recent events saw Ukrainian forces launching coordinated attacks on Crimea, Krasnodar, and other Russian regions using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and naval drones. The Russian Defense Ministry reported the interception of over 100 drones and the destruction of six unmanned boats by the Black Sea Fleet during these assaults.
In a briefing on Friday, the Ministry of Defense disclosed that Russian troops had intercepted numerous US-made ATACMS missiles, around 200 rockets, including those from US-made HIMARS and Czech-made Vampire launchers. The attacks also involved guided bombs from France, cruise missiles from the UK, and a significant number of UAVs, showcasing a diverse array of weaponry used in the confrontations.
