Iranian Commander Reveals Limited Use of Military Resources in Retaliatory Strikes Against Israel

In a recent interview, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the IRGC’s Aerospace Division, disclosed that during Iran's retaliatory airstrikes against Israel, named Operation True Promise, only a fraction of Iran's military capabilities were utilized. Despite facing support from the United States, Britain, and France in defense of Israel, Iran employed just 20% of its prepared resources against the Israeli regime.

Iran (IMNA) - Hajizadeh highlighted that while Israel and its allies mobilized all available military assets to counter Iran's attacks, the US also provided assistance by deploying aircraft, cruisers, and aircraft carriers in support of Israel. Despite not utilizing its full military might, Iran's adversaries used all resources at their disposal to counter the Iranian strikes, with the US standing by Israel despite prior claims of non-intervention.

The success of the operation was attributed to the resolute determination of Iranian forces and the strategic guidance of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. The retaliatory attack, launched on April 13, involved a coordinated assault using drones and missiles in response to the Israeli aggression on Iranian diplomatic premises in Damascus on April 1, resulting in casualties including two IRGC Quds Force generals and five accompanying officers.

The international community condemned the Israeli regime's actions, which led to the loss of Iranian military personnel. Notably, all hypersonic missiles deployed by Iran during the retaliatory strikes successfully hit their targets, evading Israeli air defense systems as reported by Press TV. Hajizadeh hinted at undisclosed aspects of the operation, underscoring the limited glimpse into Iran's military capabilities showcased during the retaliatory mission.
