Iranian Army Commander Threatens Missile Strikes on Occupied Palestine, Vows Retaliation for Israeli Aggression

In a ceremony in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province on Thursday, Iranian Army Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi stated that Iran is prepared to launch missiles at any location in occupied Palestine if necessary.

Iran (IMNA) - Mousavi praised Operation True Promise, in which Iran retaliated against Israel with a barrage of drones and missiles in response to the Israeli shelling of the Iranian consulate in Damascus on April 1. According to Mousavi, Iran's response was a legitimate act of defense against the unlawful actions of the "child-killing Zionist regime."

The Israeli regime's barbarism in Gaza has led to the horrific martyrdom of innocent people, which the regime uses to create an unbreakable image of itself. However, Operation True Promise shattered this image, Mousavi emphasized.

On April 1, the Israeli regime attacked Iran's consulate in the Syrian capital of Damascus, resulting in the destruction of the entire building and the martyrdom and injury of all individuals inside. Seven members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were martyred in the attack, according to an IRGC statement.

In response to the Israeli aggression, Iran attacked the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories with a barrage of drones and missiles early on Sunday. Iran announced that it does not seek to create tension in the region and carried out the anti-Zionist operation to punish the Zionist regime. However, Iran's political and military officials have strongly warned that the country would give a severe response in case of any fresh Israeli aggression.
