Global Outcry for Gaza: World Demands End to Crimes in Palestinian Territories Despite Israel's Defiance

The international community is calling for an end to crimes in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, according to Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kan'ani.

Iran (IMNA) - Despite the will of Israel and its supporters, the world is determined to stop the war crimes in these regions and demand the trial of criminals by competent international courts.

This global outcry comes as anger boils over on university campuses across the United States, with students protesting the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip. Pro-Palestinian protests that started last week at Columbia University have now reached Harvard, Texas, Brown, and Southern California universities. Students from Brown University in Rhodes Island and the University of Southern California (USC) have joined other universities, including Columbia, to call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

However, at the University of Texas, local police and state troopers lined up to prevent students from marching on campus, eventually clashing with protesters and arresting several people. Meanwhile, Harvard University in Massachusetts restricted access to its campus and required a permit to set up tents, but protesters erected 14 tents on Wednesday in defiance. The world now demands the trial of criminals by competent international courts, with the senior Iranian diplomat adding that the international community is determined to stop the war crimes in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
