Iran (IMNA) - In response to the tragic terrorist attack that took place in Moscow on Friday, Iran's First Vice President, Mohammad Mokhber, has offered condolences to the Russian government and the nation as well. He stated that terrorism and the killing of innocent civilians anywhere in the world should be condemned, and those committing or supporting such acts must face justice in international courts.
In a message to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on Saturday, Mokhber reaffirmed Iran's readiness to enhance cooperation with Russia in the fight against terrorism. This comes after a devastating terrorist attack at the Moscow Crocus Hall, which resulted in the loss of many innocent lives.
The attack occurred on Friday night when armed assailants, dressed in combat uniform, stormed the concert hall in the town of Crocus near Moscow. They opened fire on those inside and set off explosives, causing a massive fire. As per Russia's Investigative Committee, the death toll from this heinous act has risen to at least 133.
