Iran (IMNA) Speaking during the Persian New Year celebrations in Tehran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei stated that the Axis of Resistance has thwarted the United States' strategic plans in West Asia.
The Leader highlighted the resilience of the Axis of Resistance, which has hindered the US's long-standing ambition to dominate the region. Consequently, the US is now forced to withdraw from the region, according to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei . He also refuted Western claims that Iran controls every act of resistance in the region, emphasizing that while Iran supports these movements, they operate independently.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei expressed concern for the plight of Palestinians under the oppressive Israeli regime in Gaza. He criticized Washington's support for Israel, which has severely damaged its global reputation and fueled hatred towards the US in the region. The Leader also pointed out that Israel's campaign in Gaza has revealed its fragility and the internal strife that is hastening the regime's decline.
On the economic front, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei emphasized the importance of national unity and people's participation in bolstering Iran's economy. Despite adversaries' attempts to dismantle Iran's economy through sanctions, the Leader stated that the Iranian people's resilience has consistently thwarted these efforts. He urged the nation to maintain hope and unity in the face of such challenges.
