Iran (IMNA) - Inspired by a Rumi poem, the composer and Tanbur player, Farnood Elhami, has created the music piece "Timeless" which is sung by Abolfazl Dehghan and performed with the collaboration of Sajenar Music Band, in the music video format which is now available to the fans all across the country.
"Timeless" is a triad in Divan-i Shams, a selection of which have been gathered in the piece.
All three ghazals open with the same verse: Late it is, late it is, sun's gone down the wells. Some of the interpreters believe that the sun in this case stands for Shams-i Tabrizi who got murdered and was then thrown down a well.
