Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi Extends Offer to Strengthen Bilateral Relations with Pakistan

In a message to Pakistan's newly elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi expressed Tehran's readiness to enhance and deepen bilateral relations with Islamabad.

Iran (IMNA) - Sharif, who secured his position as Prime Minister for the second consecutive term with the support of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), received felicitations from President Raeisi on his election victory.

President Raeisi emphasized the importance of the deep historical and cultural ties between Iran and Pakistan, expressing hope for increased cooperation to elevate their relationship to new heights. "Within the framework of its enduring policy, the Islamic Republic of Iran stands fully prepared to bolster and expand all facets of bilateral relations with the brotherly and neighboring country of Pakistan," President Raeisi affirmed. Additionally, Raeisi extended well wishes for success to the new Pakistani government and conveyed hopes for the prosperity and well-being of the Pakistani nation.
