Iran's Future Hinges on Voter Turnout

Iran (IMNA) - Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has urged the Iranian nation to participate actively in the upcoming elections, emphasizing that their presence will be crucial for the country's progress.

Iran (IMNA) - In a meeting on Wednesday, Ayatollah Khamenei declared that "strong and fervent elections" are essential for effective governance. He stated that by demonstrating their presence in "decisive scenes," the nation can "save and move the country forward."

Ayatollah Khamenei addressed those who may be indifferent to the vote, reminding them to approach the elections with national interests in mind rather than partisan loyalties. He stressed that "if the election is weak, everyone will suffer a loss."

"Anyone who loves Iran, their nation, and security should know that if the elections are poorly held, no one will benefit and everyone will be hurt," he said.

Ayatollah Khamenei's remarks come ahead of the Iranian parliamentary (Majlis) and Assembly of Experts elections scheduled for March 1.
