Iran (IMNA) - In a recent statement, the scientific vice president revealed concerns over the increasing challenges faced by the growing number of knowledge-based companies in the country. Despite the rise in such companies, limited resources have posed significant obstacles in their operations.
Highlighting the importance of artificial intelligence (AI), the vice president announced a substantial budget allocation for the implementation of necessary measures in the field of AI for the upcoming year. He urged knowledge-based companies to prioritize cooperation and unity in their projects to overcome these challenges effectively.
During a meeting with top knowledge-based companies in Zanjan province, Iranian Vice-President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy Rouhollah Dehqani Firouzabadi announced a substantial growth. He stated that the number of knowledge-based companies surged from 50 in 2008 to 9,600 in 2023, marking a remarkable 200-fold increase.
