In a telephone conversation on Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud engaged in talks regarding regional and international matters. The discussion primarily focused on recent events in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza and the dire humanitarian situation in the strip amidst Israel's relentless attacks.

Iran (IMNA) - Both ministers emphasized the importance of establishing a strategic direction in their mutual relations, taking into account the ongoing regional and international developments, as well as the challenges faced by the Muslim world, particularly the Palestinian issue.

Amir-Abdollahian expressed deep concern over Israel's continuous acts of aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, specifically citing the recent activities in Rafah. He called for concerted efforts to counter the threats posed by the Israeli regime.

To address the concerns, he revealed that the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia is actively working towards finding a solution.
