Iranian President Vows Decisive Response to Adventurism, Assures Regional Security

Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi declared on Friday that Tehran would not instigate a war but would respond resolutely and forcefully to any attempts at bullying the Islamic Republic.

Iran (IMNA) - Addressing a sizable gathering in the city of Minab, located in the southern province of Hormozgan, Raeisi reiterated Iran's commitment to peace while warning against potential aggression.

"We have repeatedly emphasized that we will not be the aggressor in any conflict. However, if any nation or oppressive force seeks to intimidate the Islamic Republic of Iran, we will respond firmly," stated Raeisi. He further emphasized that Iran's military capabilities pose no threat to countries in West Asia but rather serve as a source of regional security upon which neighboring states can rely.

President Raeisi Stresses Iran's Defense Readiness and Condemns Enemy Threats

President Raeisi addressed the aggressive language previously employed by enemies towards Iran. He highlighted that these adversaries had openly discussed the possibility of military action against the Islamic Republic. However, in a surprising turn of events, they now declare their lack of interest in any confrontation with Iran.

During his visit to an exhibition showcasing the advancements of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy, President Raeisi emphasized the deterrent nature of Iran's military capabilities. He pointed out that the enemies are unable to tolerate the remarkable innovations achieved by Iranian experts and specialists.

In response to an attack in Jordan that resulted in the deaths of three American soldiers, US officials have recently announced plans to launch a series of strikes on Iranian targets in Iraq and Syria. President Joe Biden attributed the attack to "Iranian-backed groups" primarily operating from Iraq. The incident also left at least 34 individuals wounded.

Iran Denies Involvement in Attacks on US Forces, Cites Autonomy of Regional Resistance Groups

In a recent development, Iran has firmly denied any participation in the attacks on US forces in the region. The Iranian government emphasized that regional resistance groups operate independently and do not take orders from Tehran. Furthermore, they stated that the Islamic Republic plays no role in their decisions to carry out retaliatory operations in defense of the Palestinian people. This statement comes amidst escalating tensions between Iran and the United States, as both sides continue to exchange accusations.
