Iran (IMNA) - As Ambassador Tipu presented his credentials to President Raeisi on Saturday, the president stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran views borders as opportunities for economic exchanges and the promotion of security among neighboring countries. Raeisi called upon both nations to work together in implementing joint strategies to combat terrorism and organized crime.

According to Mudassir, senior Pakistani officials are fully determined to enhance the friendly relations between Pakistan and Iran. Islamabad is eager to embark on a new chapter in its fraternal relations with Tehran, the diplomat affirmed.

Adding to the discourse, Mohammad Jamshidi, the Iranian president's deputy chief of staff for political affairs, highlighted the meeting between Raeisi and Mudassir on his X account earlier in the day. Jamshidi emphasized that it is the United States that benefits from terrorism, while considering the shared borders between Iran and Pakistan as an opportunity rather than a threat.
