According to Mudassir, senior Pakistani officials are fully determined to enhance the friendly relations between Pakistan and Iran. Despite the efforts made by enemies and ill-wishers to disrupt bilateral cooperation, both countries have deep-rooted historical and strategic ties. Islamabad is eager to embark on a new chapter in its fraternal relations with Tehran, the diplomat affirmed.
Adding to the discourse, Mohammad Jamshidi, the Iranian president's deputy chief of staff for political affairs, highlighted the meeting between Raeisi and Mudassir on his X account earlier in the day. Jamshidi emphasized that it is the United States that benefits from terrorism, while considering the shared borders between Iran and Pakistan as an opportunity rather than a threat.
