In a statement, Israeli spokesperson Kan'ani criticized the ICJ's decision, stating that it revealed the foundation of the "Zionist regime" to be rooted in aggression and discrimination. The conflict between Israel and Gaza has been ongoing since October 7, 2023, following an operation conducted by Palestinian resistance groups. The situation in Gaza has been devastating, with over 26,000 Palestinians killed in the relentless onslaught, with women, children, and adolescents making up approximately 70 percent of the casualties. Additionally, more than 64,100 individuals have been injured.
