Iranian Foreign Minister Accuses Israeli Regime of "Blind Terrorism" in Response to Gaza Defeat

In a meeting with Head of Iran-Kuwait Parliamentary Friendship Group Marzouq al-Hubaini, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian praised Kuwait's support for the oppressed Palestinian people.

Iran (IMNA) - Amir-Abdollahian stated that despite the extensive destruction and loss of tens of thousands of lives caused by the Zionist enemy in Gaza, they have failed to achieve their objectives. The Iranian diplomat accused Israel of resorting to "blind terrorist acts" as a means to compensate for their defeat in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Israel launched a military offensive on Gaza on October 7, 2023, in response to Operation al-Aqsa Storm initiated by the resistance movements within the territory. The ongoing Israeli onslaught has resulted in a devastating loss of life, with over 25,105 Palestinians killed, predominantly women and children. Additionally, more than 62,680 individuals have been injured in the relentless attacks.

In light of these alarming developments, Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran's Foreign Minister, and Kuwaiti parliamentarian Ahmad Hubaini have emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral relations between their respective countries. During discussions, Zarif called upon the Iranian and Kuwaiti parliaments to prioritize the enhancement of mutual ties. Hubaini echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the expansion of parliamentary relations is vital for the sustained growth of bilateral cooperation.

Furthermore, Hubaini praised Iran for its unwavering support in advocating for the rights and cause of the Palestinian people. As a Muslim and Arab nation, Kuwait stands in solidarity with Iran's principled stance on defending the Palestinian population.
