Iran (IMNA) - President Raeisi emphasized that Tehran is committed to bringing the "leaders, managers, and perpetrators" of the heinous crime to justice.
Daesh Claims Responsibility for Terrorist Bombings in Kerman
Iran's President-elect, Ebrahim Raeisi, has stated that no amount of support or patronage from any power can offer a sense of security to the individuals involved in the recent atrocity. His remarks came a day after two consecutive explosions rocked a memorial ceremony in the city of Kerman, resulting in the death of at least 84 people and leaving many others injured. The ceremony was held in honor of Iran's former senior anti-terror commander, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani. The terrorist group Daesh Takfiri has claimed responsibility for the bombings.
The President of Serbia underscores solidarity with Iran in the battle against terrorism and expresses Serbia's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Iran. In response to the recent twin blasts in Kerman, President Raeisi condemns the cowardly acts and asserts that they will not deter Iran from pursuing its noble objectives of combating cruelty, oppression, and injustice. He further emphasizes that no amount of external support can shield the culprits responsible for this heinous crime.
Leaders from various countries worldwide, including Russia, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and more, have expressed their strong condemnation of the heinous act.
