Iranian President Demands Swift Action in Identifying Perpetrators of Terrorist Attack in Rask

Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi has issued orders for immediate and efficient measures to identify those responsible for the recent terrorist attack that targeted a police station in the southeast region of the country. The attack, which occurred early on Friday, resulted in the tragic loss of at least 11 lives, with numerous others sustaining injuries.

Iran (IMNA) - President Raeisi expressed his condolences to the Iranian nation and specifically extended his sympathies to the families of the dedicated police forces who tragically fell victim to the attack. TheJaish ul Zolm terror group, based in Pakistan, has claimed responsibility for the assault in Rask County, located in Sistan and Baluchistan Province.

In a statement, President Raeisi emphasized the urgency of the situation, calling upon the robust security and law enforcement forces to swiftly identify both the perpetrators and masterminds behind this abhorrent act. It is imperative, he stressed, that they are promptly brought to justice for their disgraceful crime.

Moreover, the president denounced the attack as a cowardly and indiscriminate act of terror, placing blame on what he referred to as the "stooges of the world arrogance."

Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has urged for a prompt and decisive response to the recent terrorist attack. In his statement, Qalibaf emphasized that Iran's adversaries have repeatedly attempted to undermine the determination of the Iranian nation through such futile acts. However, he made it clear that these actions will not go unanswered and will be met with "harsh punishment."

In light of this tragedy, a day of mourning has been declared in Sistan and Baluchestan Province as a tribute to the victims. The attack, which took place in southeastern Iran, resulted in the loss of 11 police officers' lives.

Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi has assured the public that the perpetrators responsible for this heinous act will be brought to justice. He stated, "Terrorists and their supporters must understand that they will undoubtedly be apprehended by the self-sacrificing law enforcement and other intelligence-security forces, and they will face severe punishment."
