Iranian Spokesman Slams US, UK, and Canada for Complicity in Israeli War on Gaza

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kan'ani, strongly criticized the governments of the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada for their alleged involvement in the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza and their unwavering support for the Tel Aviv regime. Kan'ani made these remarks on Sunday in response to the baseless actions taken by the three Western governments, who imposed sanctions on several Iranian nationals worldwide, citing "human rights violations."

Iran (IMNA) - Expressing his condemnation in the strongest terms, Kan'ani stated, "These countries, with a history of colonialism and systematic human rights abuses, are using biased and deceptive measures to divert public opinion from their own anti-human rights actions and their full cooperation with the inhumane crimes committed by the child-killing Zionist regime."

Kan'ani strongly criticized the three Western governments, labeling them as self-proclaimed champions of human rights. He accused them of employing a hypocritical and double-standard approach, which he believes undermines the fundamental principles and values of human rights.

Highlighting their involvement in the Israeli war crimes committed in the Gaza Strip since early October, Kan'ani argued that these countries have no credibility or moral standing to pass judgment or make comments on the human rights conditions in other nations.

"The governments of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada are being accused of complicity in the Israeli regime's war crimes in Gaza. According to Kan'ani, due to their long-standing and unwavering support for Israel, including political, military, intelligence, and media backing, these countries should be held accountable for their involvement in the crimes."

In a swift retaliation against decades-long oppression by the occupying entity, Palestinian resistance groups launched a surprise attack, prompting Israel to initiate a full-scale war on Gaza on October 7. Tragically, the relentless air and ground assaults by Israeli forces have resulted in a staggering death toll of over 17,400 individuals, with the majority being women and children. Additionally, more than 46,480 people have been injured in the ongoing conflict. The United Nations reports that approximately 80 percent of Gaza's population has been displaced, with over 1.1 million seeking refuge in UN Palestine refugee agency (UNRWA) shelters.
