Iran, Russia, and China to Hold Joint Naval Exercise

Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani has announced that Iran, Russia, and China will conduct a joint naval exercise.

Iran (IMNA) - The main phase of the largest maritime operation in the country will take place in the Jask region over a period of ten days. Rear Admiral Irani disclosed that heavy units with high capacity will be deployed in this area by the end of the year. Furthermore, considering the growing number of heavy vessels in Iran, plans are underway to establish a larger maritime area in the Konark region.

Rear Admiral Irani highlighted the positive reaction from Caspian Sea region countries towards the presence of the Deylaman destroyer. He emphasized that the construction of the Deylaman destroyer has brought about changes in commercial exchanges and the perception of the maritime economy and shipping in the Caspian Sea. Additionally, he stated that the development of the Deylaman destroyer can contribute positively to Iran's commercial sector, underscoring Iran's capability to build not only destroyers but also commercial ships without difficulty.

In addition to these three nations, observers from Pakistan, Brazil, Oman, India, South Africa, and several neighboring countries in the Caspian Sea have been invited to participate.
