Iranian Foreign Minister Commends International Support for Palestinians Amid Israeli Offensive in Gaza

In a display of gratitude, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian expressed appreciation for the support and humanitarian aid extended by various international unions and organizations to the Palestinian people amidst the ongoing Israeli onslaught on Gaza.

Iran (IMNA) - In separate letters addressed to key figures, including Chairperson of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki Mahamat, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Tasmagambetov Imangali Nurgalievich, Secretary-General of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America Felix Plasencia, and Secretary General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Kao Kim Hourn, Amirabdollahian commended their efforts in assisting the Palestinians and condemning the Israeli regime's brutal actions.

Amirabdollahian also reminded these international bodies of their responsibility to halt the war crimes committed by the Zionist regime. He highlighted the concerning lack of response from some international actors and the impunity enjoyed by Israeli officials, which only serves to embolden the Zionists in perpetrating further atrocities against Palestine.

Tragically, the Israeli attacks in Gaza have resulted in the loss of over 15,000 Palestinian lives since October 7th. However, a four-day ceasefire was implemented last week and has been extended twice, offering a temporary respite in the conflict.
